1/0 Taylor battery cable from the battery all the way up to the engine compartment. I've seen guys have trouble when they use a smaller cable...

what side of the trunk are you considering mounting the batt? ... As to provide the best traction during those hard body flexing launces! <img src="graemlins/burnout.gif" border="0" alt="[Burnout]" /> <img src="images/icons/grin.gif" border="0">

Welding wire. Not sure on the size. Very cheap at your local hardware store. Pass. side fenderwell. I made a metal plate to sit in the bottom of the fenderwell bolted to the underneath of my car and bolted the battery down to it. Nice and level, looks great!

I used 1 gauge. Got the kit from Summit Racing. Go with at least 1 gauge. Cheaper to get it from a welding supply store.

I put a red top in a Summit battery box in the t-top well on my SS. I used Phoenix Gold 4 guage wire and had three grounds in the rear and had three runs to the front of the car. They came together with a power distrubution block in the front and then were split off to the main bus, alternator, and starter.

I just finished a relocation. I first mounted a steel plate on the passenger side bracket on the floor where the seat was. Put a Moroso box on this. In the console cup holder, I put a Summit shut-off switch. Positive into the switch, then out and then both pos and neg to front through firewall to connect to factory wires. I used 4 gauge welding wire.

I put my second yellow top in the back left hand side in that compartment. I ran the ground wire to the seat belt ground bolt. The car is in the shop for a turbo install. I will try and remember to get some pics. I ran 1/0 to it also like most people did here. But I can't see why 4 guage won't be a problem for most people.
