Which Sub, Dual 2 or Dual 4
My amp is either 1x800w or 2x400. The specs can be seen on the link shown above. The amp is 2 ohm stereo stable, or bridged into 4 ohms.
I will be running 1-10" sub on it in a stealthbox. I will be buying a JBL sub, but I don't know if I should get the dual 2ohm sub or the dual 4 ohm sub. The sub is rated for 1000w max and 250w rms.
I was thinking I want the dual 2ohm sub that way I can wire both channels to the sub and achieve 2ohms correct?
HOWEVER, if you want to try and use it, get a dual-2 sub, put the coils in series for 4 ohms (how could you get 2 ohms from dual-2? You can't!) and run the amp bridged.
