Default Music that showcases your system?

Thought this would be kind of a fun thread.

What are some of the songs you like to use when showing off your audio setups? I just installed a new eclipse sub and amp so I'm looking to put together a playlist that'll rock my car .

Any genre is ok!

I like to play music DVD's...here's an example:

Makes it a visual as well as an audio experience!! I like techno metal stuff and Crystal Method. I'm also a fan of 80's metal (no I don't have a mullet!!)!! Very little rap or country make in my player!!

I usually use "Chateau" by Rob Dougan off the Matrix Reloaded soundtrack,
"Dirthouse" by Static-X off their "Start a War" album,
and "Hotel California" by the Eagles off their "Very Best of" album.

I use KMK's "King klick" or "the lottery" for bass. For rock, you cant beat metallica.

most rap is just stupid, but for bass you cant beat it:
TI-Top Back, what you know
KoRn and Dem Franchise Boys-Coming undoe wit it.

To showcase the whole system I use Genesis or The Rippingtons.

If you want nothing but bass tracks, try DJ Magic Mike or 2 Live Crew.

(I think I just showed my age.)

Yea you did. That's ok, I remember going to the Daytona Spring Break Nationals in '94 and seeing his Mercedes there. Owned two of his CD's too. (DJ Magic Mike... makes the car go boom..."

I love to blast out my 80s rock. Some Billy Idol or Mellencamp. Ha, its so great when I pull into like the DQ in my town on a nice bustling Friday evening with some "gayer" 80s rock going and then jump out of my car and all the older (younger too) people see how a younger guy (19) is driving the car and such, gets me everytime. I will play what I want because the kids in their gay *** ricer **** know they cant touch mine so its all good.

You think that's funny; when it's warm out and I have the t-tops off I crank the volume and play vangelis "chariots of fire" and I get the most hilarious looks ever.

If you aren't sure what that song is, it's the famous slow-motion music that's played when people are running in movies. Check it out and you'll recognize it immediately .

Yeah I will have to check that out. In general, while some may not see the humor in it, I just get my jollies out of playing all kinds of rather gayass music out real loud at lights and such. I dont think that I would do it in a regular old car, but in my TA it is great

I know what you mean, in college my roommate and I used to get drunk and crank our stereos to see who could play the crappiest music. It got to the point where we eventually teamed up and unleashed on the entire floor in our dorm sometimes just for ***** and giggles. We would have so many people coming by just to say "OH MAN I FORGOT ABOUT THAT SONG!!"

I miss those days .

Been there (actually still there ) and done just that. Last time it happened we teamed up on the song Danger Zone from top gun. Needless to say the RA was not so pleased with that or the hole that made its way in my door
