Yeah i like that one alot skilrider. I just ordered an amp but if i do get a new headunit its gonna have to have an lcd screen like yours. cause my jvclh910 does now, and every other display looks like crap after watching those little video clips.
I ordered the amp a week and a half ago and they said it was on backorder
, but they said it would ship today. but fedex hasnt show its shipped yet, i wonder how long it takes the info to upload.

specs or no specs we used to sell eclipse. one of the happiest moments of my life is when we dropped the line and quit haven't to put up with all the defective units and warranty hassles. then again it has been a few years now maybe they have turned their company around. nothing like the warranty guy telling you to hook the illumination wire up to switched before sending the radio back as defective. for those that don't understand the illumination wire is only there to dim the radio when you turn the headlights on if you hook it to switched the radio will be permenatly dimmed even in sunlight.
I have never had any issues at all with my Eclipse CD8445. Best damn Hu on the market for SQ. 7 band parametric equalizer, not just a graphic equalizer, gives you the ultimate control of your cabin space and sound quality.
And to be honest I dont care what a store goes through to send a unit back. The store would have replaced my unit in a heartbeat if it was defective. What goes on behind the scenes does not matter to me as long as my satisfaction isn't compromised.
I paid less than $355 shipped from a credible ebay car electronics vendor and my HU blows away anything in it's price range.
Sticking with my Phoenix Gold Xenon 200.4 as well.
