McIntosh has been voted multiple times as the best amps on the planet... that amp I posted costs more than most people make in a month LOL.
The older headunits that look like they're straight from the 80s are some of the best decks, their SQ is amazing. You're the one who said its all about the SQ...
I happen to LOVE the looks of those McIntosh's 
I think it's obvious he's just trying to stir the pot, heck, just look at -his- system...lol It's very hard for me to take him seriously just solely based on that alone.

just glanced through this thread, but everyone with Alpine love seems to not have current model gear. I have a 7995 in my DD and like it alot (except the glide touch, pita gimmick), BUT.. if you look at 2007 model gear, Alpine dropped alot of features from their head units this year. Comparing current model gear, the Pioneer 880 PRS is much better then Alpines offerings in terms of tuning features, and is what I'm using this season in my hawk.
I've got plenty of love for Infinity, JBL's little brother if you will, but if you honestly think a system of coaxes in doors are going to impress any real audio guy, WOW.
