Alpine makes ok head units. The rest of their **** sucks.
Alpine decks look cheap, but they have all the best features, and thats whats important for tuning in a nice stereo.

I wouldnt put Alpine in the top 5 overall, but in headunits, around 3 or 4.

It's called "post whoring" - it's something that's done by people who haven't conquered the skills of copy-and-paste or by people who just want to inflate their post count. In this case, he's managed to post almost 14% of his total count in this one thread alone. Oh well, let him play...he'll get tired of it eventually.
