Default Pics of my custom lighted radio mount

I just installed the lighted radio mount from HUmount and I'm really happy with it. My Sony headunit stuck out a little bit before, but is flushed mounted now. The first pic is with no lights on at all.

The second pic is the radio and radio mount lights on.

The last is the night time shot with headlights on.

The lettering is lit with LED lights and looks much clearer in person. The pictures kept coming out a little hazy looking. I deviated from the recommended installation because I wanted the lights to come on when the car was started, not just when the headlights were on.

That's a humount guys...just go buy one!! LOL!! He didn't make it!! Hence his first sentence "I just installed the lighted radio mount from HUmount "!! Reading is fundamental...lmao!! Humount makes probably the best "off the shelf" mount for a car stereo in an F-body. Nicely done!!

Yeah, I just bought it from {non-sponsor link removed}
Installation time totalled about half an hour. Really a well done kit for the money.

Thats awesome. I am thinking about opting to put the lettering on the Humount I order on the bottom instead of the top like everyone else, simply because I plan on putting in a nav system with a flip up screen. I'm worried that it might end up looking kind of silly though being on the bottom, anyone seen anyone do this yet or have any opinions?

If you have the nav over top it will still look good. Otherwise it may look crowded on the bottom because of the A/C controls etc.

yeah, they are kick butt, here's a pic of mine. I also deviated from the way the instructions say and I wired it up to my quenching diode relay that turns my amps on so that as soon as I turn on my stereo the light lights up.

They've been making those for awhile now for different vehicles and I haven't heard a cross word yet about them!! Plus you get to design your own to what you want it to say and color to light up. They really personalize your rides audio system!!
