I have a JL Audio 500/5 that just bit the big one without warning. Now I need to get a new one.
What are you all using to power your speakers?

If you're looking for a really good 5 channel - All in one amplifier, I would go with the Memphis Audio MCH-1300 or MCH-1600, depending what you're running. OR if you can find them, the Xtant 1001.1 for your subs and Xtant 604.4 for your high end, they are the same physical size and are AMAZING. Xtant was bought out, so they went downhill, but if you can find the last GREAT ones, you'll never be sorry. ( A bit expensive though)

JL has a flat fee for repairs, you should call and ask them.

I am going to do some more troubleshooting with it this morning. It goes into Low Impedance shut-down but there are no blown speakers and there is good signal from the deck. I checked all the wiring and fuses last night. All are good. I am going to pull each channel and check each one one-at-a-time. If I'm really lucky maybe it's just a speaker grounding out somewhere?

Avionixx 600.4 and an eD NINe.1....
thinking about going with 2 - Alpine PDX 150.4's and a PDX 1000.1 in the way future. It would be great to see what my CDT's sound like with 300watts to them
