Stereo question/problem
Also what Ohms is the moonsoon subwoofer?
No, cannot combine wires in any way because they are powered by separate channels of the Monsoon amp.
For Firebirds especially, I recommend Elemental Designs eu700s since they are DVC subs.

Hopefully someone else can come up with a more certain answer about the DVC wiring, but I would THINK that if the signals in those two wires were perfectly in phase with each other, you should be able to combine them... I guess it would be like bridging 2 amplifier channels in another system. Unfortunately, my strength is in digital circuits, not analog, so I just can't be sure what would happen.
If you don't mind having to replace your amp if you fry it, give it a shot and see what happens. Just watch out for smoke.
No, the channels of the amp are not bridgeable so don't combine the two pairs of wires. Just use one pair or the other for your SVC replacement speaker. Most have had the best results using the longer of the two pairs.
And remember...there's only so much smoke in electrical components - once you let that smoke out the thing won't work anymore.

But could i put a mid-range speaker where that 6.5" sub use to be? And run wires from the rear 4" speakers to the place where the 6.5" subs were in place of a mid-range?

just pull a pair of wires forward for the sails (probably woofer wires -- try both component wires though).
