Factory sail subs (in TAs) have two voice-coils, and thus 4 wires -- you would just use two of the wires if you went with the MB Quarts. Even though the sail panels are already filtered by the Monsoon amp, you should also use the MB Quart crossover as well (if you happen to go with them).

I'm trying to not spend a lot of money. $140 is a lot but I may do it. Unless that is for a pair and not just one.

No, just one. If you're not trying to get the most out of them and plan on a sub someday, who cares then -- just go with the Quarts. Many w/ Firebirds use SVC subs and seem satisfied from what I've heard.

The eD 7kv.2 subs (formerly EU-700) are $65 each. And they sound great! (thanks fredmr39 for pointing them out)

i mean the music coming from the engine is good enough, but when i like to hear other forms of music i like it to sound somewhat good lol. Maybe I'll just save up since they are on backorder right now. I know you have a write up on how to install but install is fairly easy right? no need to fab up anything? After doing this projector retrofit I'm about tired of fabbing crap up for this car lol.

I don't plan on a sub(s) for the fact that is just more crap clogging up the interior space.

If you know there is an install guide, why not read it? Anyways...yes, you do need to make a spacer since the mounting depth is deeper. Nothing complicated like your retrofit I'm sure.

I just ordered a set of these for in my Camaro, I hope they work ok I will let you guys know once I get them and get them installed. I know the mounting depth says 6" but I have talked to Ian at Kee Audio and he says they will work fine in the sails.

i know that was a redundant question. What I mean to ask was how complex was it? You'll have to forgive me as I have more brain farts than usual thanks to being hit by a car going 60 then a semi going 70 in my last f-body.

Now why was my link to the speakers I was showing removed when it was from the same place that DirtyBird222 has been linking to. I was just showing another woofer option for the said panels. Ian at Kee had these but I see they are no longer on his page so I just linked this other page. But anyways the ones I will be getting were MA65B's they are a mid bass woofer.

They are good midwoofers. I removed them because my distributor and MA Audio can't seem to keep up with the demand for them. I keep runing out of stock on them and they haven't been able to keep me supplied with them so I am going with some other alternatives that I think will be just as effective in the sailpanels. I am researching 2 right now and will let you guys know. I am bringing on some other new product as well.

I hadn't noticed the other links earlier. They have now been removed as well.

Why would you want to? Stay with the round speakers.
