Go to Crutchfield and talk to a sales person, tell them what HU you would like and they send all the nessary parts to make your install a success, but read up on the Stickys to get the coloring codes! It only took 30 minutes to do that install.

It sounds great! Crystal Clear highs and awesome mids. The Bass can over power the highs and mids if you let it. I have my speakers set at a 80hz cut off, and the subwoofers at a 140hz cut off. And the funny part is that i only wanted a very clean, but loud system and what i got is that, and a pair of 12" subs that hit 157db and i still had a little more to go

That wasn't too bad, when i looked at the mounting bracket for the 4" speaker and the 3/4" tweeter it looked like there should be a 4x6" speaker there so i used a coping saw to cut out a little to make the 4x6" to fit, and the holes matched right up. It was easy, but i did use the factory tweeter and the mid wires to wire up the new 4x6".

157db? You got that from the HU's spl meter?

Are you running your 6 JBL interior speakers on your HU's power?

The meter was on the dash board, and read out 157db.
I am running 4 speakers off the HU, and they are tweeters with external crossovers, and the mids are running off the factory amp.
Trans Ams' came factory with 10 speaker system, and all the tweeters ran off the factory HU, and i kepted it that way.

Whats an "humount"?

This amp is amazing, i have 4 gauge wire going to it w/ NO cap, and its down to a 2 ohm load, so thats is 800rms watts Alpine clames 1500 watts MAX at 2 ohms, but 1500 watts i cant beleve. But i have ran the amp w/ the subs hard with the AC on full blast and bright lights on, and they dont dim or anything weird happens. After buying this amp i found a place to buy it really cheaper....PM me to know detals or where to buy it.

you shouldn't have any charging issues if that's the only amp -- 1000 approx is where most run into problems -- 800 watt amp and you say you're hitting 157 dB?.....
