Blinker not working, HELP!!
-William
And also, just for information purposes, a quickly-blinking turn signal means a rear bulb is burnt out.
I was
that my turn signals quit working. Hazards worked, but L/R signal staying lit with no "blink".I'll check the bulbs, they're factory from '99 so that's prolly it.

Thanks guys !

1. When a bulb is burned out on either the front or the back, that side will stop flashing - there is no way (such as faster flashing) to tell whether the bad bulb is front or back without getting out and looking for the one that doesn't light. The turn signal flasher works somewhat like a thermostat - electric current passing through the contacts causes the bimetal arm to heat up and break contact. It then cools and makes contact again. When any bulb is burned out there isn't enough current flow to the rest of the bulbs on that side to make the arm heat up enough to break the contact so the remaining lights just stay on.
2. If one side flashes but the other side doesn't then there is never any reason to change the flasher. No matter what other testing you've done - do it again because the flasher can't be the problem. The same flasher operates both sides of the turn signals so if either side works then the flasher must be OK. There is a separate flasher for the hazard lights which can be very helpful when looking for a problem. Turn on the hazard lights (which will almost always flash because there are twice as many bulbs drawing current) and walk around the car looking for the light that doesn't work. Don't forget that Firebirds have two bulbs on each side at the back that should flash. When you find the one that doesn't light, check the bulb first, then the socket for a bad ground, and if you still haven't found the cause start checking for broken connections along the line.
