I like Eclipse. I have a ~6 year old CD54410 of theirs currently. But their new stuff is just SO UGLY, IMO.

New Eclipse isn't the same as Eclipse stuff from a few years ago. The same goes for Alpine.

I am a fan of Pioneer headunits. They have something for everybody, no matter what you're looking for and what your budget is.

AA used to use XBL^2 back with the Avalanche, but not with their previous line of speakers or their current line.
And the ID8s have always had 15mm of xmax
The Problem is they use the same poor packaging supplies and the same amount of poor packaging supplies for the 1008 as they do the 5418.

Like I said, it's moreso the unproper, unbusiness like, and very immature attitudes shown by Kyle and Thilo that turned me away.

I was actually looking at a 12" TC-3000 befor I bought this. Though the first thing was they were out of the dual 2 ohm subs. Then after reading up on the car audio forums I've read their CS has been crap. Also that they told one guy that they made the best subs in the world... and that they were going to around double their prices. That to me is just bad business IMO. So I didn't even think twice about buying anything from them.

They increased prices to focus the TC brand more on home audio than car audio. They now have the Audio Pulse brand for car audio which is pretty much the same drivers with a different look that can only be bought through brick and mortar dealers, no internet sales.
There are definately a lot more positive experiences with TC than negative. A lot of the negative comments are from people who don't even own TC products and just bad mouth them because they saw somebody else do it.

Did you go to a dealer and check the price? That is the only way to find out. There aren't any prices on the webpage being that you can't buy them online.
