Default Those with DVD and Navigation head units post up

I just bought a brand new Kenwood DVD in dash unit with Navigation so as soon as I get it installed I'll post some pics but let's see some others. How many of ya'll have went with this type of set-up? I was wanting to install an in dash screen Eclipse unit but I would have had to trim the dash trim to get it to fit. I'm happy though, got the new car options on a 2001 Z-28.

Sorry that you guys don't like it, all I am doing is creating a heavily modded 5.1 surround sound system in a T/A.

i just dont understand the point! i would rather invest that money into a "movie theater" type environment in my house instead of my car! the house is much more comfortable and you dont have to waste gas trying to keep the car running so that you dont drain the battery. but to each is own, the quality of work is very good! hope you enjoy it bro!

I have a Denon 7.1 setup with Klipsh speakers in my house and I love the way how it sounds. That is the reason why I'm trying to get the same sound in my car.
For as the wasting gas comment. I have a 300 amp alternator and three stinger batteries so there is no need for me to rev up the RPMs to maintain my voltage when I'm driving.
Thanks for the complements on the workmanship that means alot to me especially coming from another f body owner.

Firestarter, there is some company out there that makes HUDs for cars. Shines the gauge cluster onto the windshield. Then it really would be like a cockpit lol

firestarter i appreciate the hard work and the creativity you put into your design. So please take this in a bad way, i just want to know why the two head units being exposed? If you were to hide them away in that custom center console you are building it would look a lot cleaner and would look way better. You've already got a 10 inch screan in the dash, and I'm sure the dvd head unit has a video out! Have you thought about a carpc too? Would be cool to have in there too! Also hide that xbox too!

Thanks man and I am open to all types of suggestions.
The deal with the two head units is the top one is a alpine ivad310 which is my SAT radio,GPS and the reverse camera display. The 2nd radio is for my sound q ,it is the alpine F#1 status head unit which I will never get rid of.

If I had any room I would put both units in the console, but I only had enough room for a cup holder and my Alpine processor display
I always wanted a carpc. I just don't want to spend 3 grand plus for something that is only going to last a year. If Alpine made one I would defintely have it in the bird.

That is a bad picture of the xbox. The xbox actually sits flush plus I made a trim panel for it too, which is not pictured. Hopefully in the near futrure I will replace the xbox with the 360.
