tailights dont work???
tailights dont work??? ok to start off the car is a 94 z28 that i daily drive...one night all of a sudden the gauge cluster lights went out and at the same time the rear parking lights also went out...turn signals work fine, as well as the brake lights but no parking lights...also the front headlights, turn signals and parking lights work fine...i replaced the headlight switch and still the same problem...i check fuses and all looked ok....anyone else had this problem or have some possible advice??

Yes, the TAIL LPS fuse protects the tail/running lights and the instrument panel illumination. That includes the front parking lights - I expect that when you mentioned they were still working you were actually looking at the daytime running lights. The front lamps have dual filament bulbs where the bright filament is for the turn signals and DRLs and the dim element is only used when the headlights are on for running lights.

i once had a civic that had this problem (yes i owned a civic once).. my problem was there was a wire inside my head unit that was hitting the metal in there that cause it to short out some Fuse, so, i duct tapped that wire and then replaced all the fuses for lights and what not and it started to work fine. so, maybe that helps, i hope??
