Default Finished Pics of my Custom Box

I finally got some finished pics of the fiberglass box me and the old man built. Took us over 2 months to finish. Not 2 bad for my first time ever messin with fiberglass!!!!!!

Actually started out as two separate boxes. One has first layer of fiberglass, the other is just the MDF frame.

Both fiberglassed. I used an old sweatshirt to lay the fiberglass on.

Lots n Lots of bondo had to be used to get them to look even close to perfection. I owe this all to my dad. He putin hours n hours of bondo work. THANKS DAD!!!!

Primer and first in car lookover. (no trim) Can you spot the dog in this picture???

Finished paint.

damn, that is a sweet box. looks like u did a good job on it. looks very smooth, and has a nice style to it. i like the little point in between the speakers a lot. most would have kept it plain and flat right there.

only critique would be to make something to flush it into the rear deck. can really see the gap in this pic. think it would finish everything out.

the first few pics look like the subs are at different angles. Not sure if that's intentional, or not, but either way, it looks very good! Great finish work, and nice to see something different.

Way to go !

Thanks everyone!!!!!!!!!!! Overall building this box was a good experience. If I had to do it all over again I probably wouldnt. First off it took alot of hours and alot of money. It probably would have been alot cheeper to buy a premade box. I do love the way it looks, different, 1 of 1, made with my own vision and my own two hands. The only thing I dont like is that it is heavy. Weight is the enemy..

So as far as making more of them to sell, count me out. I just dont have the time or energy for that right now. Plus id have to get a pretty penny for them to cover the costs and my time. If i had them perfected more I would try to produce a few, but not right now. On the other hand I could use some extra cash flow for my never ending quest to get into that 12second club..

Also the amp is mounted under the box. I never have liked to show off my amps for some reason. I think hidden amps keep things looking clean.

Thanks again for all the good comments!!!!!!!!!!!!
