Default noob HU question

i'm about to order a Pioneer Premier DEHP590IB head unit. it'll be going in an '02 Camaro with the monsoon sound system. all the speakers and amp are stock but i plan on swapping them out this christmas. what all do i need to hook this HU up? also, where can i buy everything needed to make it work? i've tried searching, but it hasn't helped much. thanks

ok, i think i may have found everything i need at crutchfield.com.
is this all i need?

mounting kit, wiring harness, antenna adapter, and steering wheel audio control adapter?

also, there are two mounting kits that come up at crutchfield, theres the "in-dash reciever kit" and the "chevrolet in-dash reciever kit" whats the difference in the two?

thanks

You do if you want to keep the steering wheel controls.

When are you going to change the speakers? Not sure about the camaros, but I know when we hooked my HU up, needed to do that as well b/c of how the monsoon system is set up.

Steering Wheel controls are overrated anyways my hands sits PERFECTLY over the controls of my Pioneer to change tracks

There is no need to change speakers because of the Monsoon setup. People change the speakers because the stock ones tend to blow out due to the poor materials they are contructed from. This is why most people upgrade the speakers...plus they tend to sound alot better. If someone sold you speakers solely because of the Monsoon setup they lied to you, however I would recommend a speaker upgrade along with the HU upgrade because it gets rid of the 2 weakest links in the Monsoon setup.
