I carry several from CDT and MA Audio however the only one that wires up like the stock one is the eD eu700. The stock Monsoon one is a dual voice coil woofer that used 2 4ohm voice coils. This bridges it down to a 2ohm load. The eu700 does require a spacer in order to fit properly in the sail panel area.
If you use a regular 4ohm midbass/midwoofer you would only use 1 pair of the wires from the Monsoon amp and cap the other 2 off.

For best overall sound quality going with aftermarket amplification is the best way to go. It also enables you to not have to worry yourself about the factory 2ohm this and that. You can use standard 4ohm speakers effectively. I can put together a package for you if you want that includes everything you'd need to replace your Monsoon system. I've done several including my own 98 T/A.

thatd be great if you could set something up for me. the only thing is that i only have 375$ of my money left for speakers etc. i dont need speakers for the hatch. i was going to get all of my stuff on amazon because its pretty cheap. im not sure if I have enough money for you to put something together for me or not but any kind of help with this speaker stuff is appreciated. thanks

alright, i know what im going to get. Polk Audio MMC6500 components for the front and Kicker SS-Series SSMB6 midbass drivers for the sails. for the amp ill probably be getting an MA Audio M500XE. now can I just get any amp wiring kit? from what i've read most people seem to prefer 4 gauge wire. about how long should the wires be? TIA
