Default jvc hu with red lighting and humount!

i got this JVC ARSENAL KD-ADV38 installed it a month ago, but this friday i got my humount, and it looks awesome. It has a lot of features like built in blue tooth satellite radio ready, built in amplifier, built in crossover 4 sets of 5-volt preamp outputs, and lots more! here are a few pics, the before and after humount!

I have the same one in my Camaro also with a humount. Except it is the KD-AVX33 version which is exactly the same but with blue lighting. Where did you get your AVX38 from? I'm thinking of getting one for my WS6 since I love that radio in the Camaro! It's awesome with all the features and options

Thumbs up

Hey thanks to all for the comments! I got my head unit at sonicelectronix . com I did not want to buy a new head unit because i did not like how the colors did not match the inside of the car, and the ones that did, i didnt like! But when i saw this head unit i had to buy it, and my factory head unit left me no choice, the screen did not light up anymore and it did not play any cd; the only thing that was still good on the h.u was the radio! I highly recomend this h.u, you won't be disappointed!

Looks good!

I'm running a similar set up in my Camaro, a KD-AVX11 and a humont with blue lighting. I love the fact that this head unit can play DivX and Xvid along with all my MP3's on a DVD data disc, sooner or later I'm going to mount a monitor in a spare passenger sun visor and run it off the head unit.

I picked up my KD-AVX11 at Frys for $227 on black Friday, the 6 hours of waiting in line were worth it considering how much I saved.

Here are a couple pics.

Is that detachable? and are you still able to use the steering wheel controls?

Yes, Dimitri it is detachable. The radio also has a plug for an adapter than you can use for the steering wheel controls and they can be fully functional. Mine is setup this way.

I am carrying several now from JVC, Alpine, Clarion, Panasonic, and Pioneer Premier. If you don't see one you like on my site...give me a model number and I can get it for you. I just haven't been able to get them all on there yet. I can also put it together in a package that includes mount kit, harness adapter, and antenna adapter so you can do the install yourself and save $$$.
