Default Running aftermarket speakers in parellel?

I replaced the front speakers with some pioneers, but they are not as loud as the original speakers in the rear. I have to balance more sound to the front to get even sound. Can i do this to bring the a/m speakers to play at2ohms?

Run them parallel to what? Wiring two speakers (or two voice coils) of the same impedance in parallel will cut the total impedance in half (i.e. two 4-ohm speakers wired in parallel have a 2-ohm total impedance). But you only have one speaker in each door so what would you wire them parallel to?
