Default amp wire ?

can you use regular house wire for the amp feed and ground,I have some 4 awg just a house grade, only a 400w amp. thanks guys.

Wire is wire. If it's jacketed and flexible enough for you, then it can be used.

Is it solid core wire or stranded wire? If it`s stranded wire, then your fine

yea, its stranded, I thought it wouldnt matter but im a electrician not a car stereo person, anyways thanks for the info guys.

solid wire would be fine... if you could manage to bend it where you need it to go. And screw-down connectors probably wouldn't work as well on it.
