Look for option code AU0 on your door sticker. If you also have code UA6 then you have both the keyless entry and the factory alarm system.

The alarm system wasn't available without keyless entry...so if you have the alarm, you also have keyless entry.

That's normal alarm function. The alarm can only be disabled by using the remote or by turning the key in the ignition - any other door opening will cause the alarm to sound.

P/N 16245100 is $67 at the dealer, $40 online parts store, much cheaper on eBay.

You can replace the BCM (part number 9353691, almost $300). The non-keyless entry BCM has been discontinued and superceded to that same part number which supports both keyless entry and alarm systems. Then you would need at least one remote (listed in a previous post). And, of course, your car has to have power locks.

I have power locks so if i took one off a wrecked Z or TA and just plugged it in I should be straight. I have a remote from my Tahoe and one from my 2000 SS.

If thats the case im going to the Fbody graveyard back home later today.

No, that won't work without a lot of other work. The BCM is also responsible for the VATS system (preventing the car from starting unless the the correct resistor pellet is found in the ignition key).

A new BCM will automatically program itself to the first ignition key used. A used BCM can not be reprogrammed. You would have a 1 in 15 chance that a used BCM would happen to have the same value as your current key. If it doesn't, you would either have to get 14 keys made (each with the same cuts but a different resistor pellet) or wire in a VATS bypass.
