Try a search on this forum. I think I might've seen a step by step install on here somewhere.

What do I do with speaker wires? Haven't looked but would it be in the kit I ordered?

Actually, they probably don't come in the kit. I forgot about those. You don't really need very much, but you'll want 12 gauge speaker wire. That's what you connect your subs to the amp with. You can either run to your local stereo shop and pick up some speaker wire or if you want to, you can order it from Monster and get your discount. Monster sells it in 3 different grades like the other cables. It's cheap, only about 10 bucks probably from a stereo shop.

I might not want to bother my friend about speaker wires. I might just get some at my local store. Just as long as it's 12 gauge speaker wire correct?

YUP! Of course they have the parallel run speaker wire and the pretty twisted kind, but I never noticed a big difference between them.

My head unit that's coming in has a USB port, any suggestions where I can place or mount that?

Not really. That's really where you can be creative. I'm sure someone on here has done that before, though.

I've seen one example but that's about it. Once I see how long the actually USB cord is I guess I will figure it out.

Also, where is the best place to ground my power cable for my amp? I was thinking of connecting it to the bolt that holds the rear shocks, you think that's good enough?

Just to confirm, I will be running the Power Cable from the Batter to the Amp from the passenger side and the rest of the cables from the driver side correct?

How do I get the Remote Cable into the Remote slot?

I assume GND mean ground wire connects to there and the one on the left (12v) is Blue Cable from Battery to Amp Correct?

The remote wire actually connects to that post between the power and ground that's labeled "REM". That video looks like a pretty good basic guide. Yes, you do want to run the power and remote wire down one side, and the RCAs down the other side. For ease of installation, it may not pose any problem running the remote wire on the same side as the RCAs, especially with all the shielding that your RCAs have. I'm not sure where a good ground is on these cars, since I haven't actually done an amp install in one yet. As long as it's a secure, clean ground, it should work. Maybe someone else who's done it can chime in and tell you a good ground location.

Thank's, now what about the other end of that Remote Cable. Will there be a connection like on the Amp on the Head Unit?

I know the Blue Wire in the Amp Kit connects to my battery but how do I apply the Monster 300 MIDI In-Line Fuse Holder to the cord?

You'll want to cut the cable not far, maybe a foot or so, from the battery and connect the fuse holder in-line. You'll notice that there are set screws on each end of the fuse holder. Just strip the wire, stick it in the hole, and tighten the set screw. Make sure you don't plug the fuse in until you are finished. You don't need the other end of the wire shorting out to anything.

Do you have any friends that have done this before? It'd be good to have someone to help you, just because you've never done it before.

I do have a couple friends but just want to see if I'm capable of doing it. I'm half way there though. Anyways, the fuse holder that I have. Is the fuse in there? I don't see a way of putting a fuse in there like how the youths video does?

As for the remote cable, is there a special connection on the head unit or do I splice one up?

The fuse isn't the same as the one in the video. The one you have is a that little glass tube above the three small spade connectors in your last picture you posted. It'll have it's current rating etched into the metal caps, like "80A" for instance. When you are ready to start your system up, take one end of the fuse and stick it in into one end of the fuse holder. It'll be pretty snug. Then, plug the other end on and screw the cap till it's snug. You'll figure it out. Just try not to force anything, since it IS glass.

The remote wire will connect directly to another blue wire on the harness that came with your deck. It might even be labeled as "remote" or something. If it's not labeled and you want to be sure, just take a look in the manual that came wit your HU. There should be a wiring diagram in it somewhere.

sounds pretty simple since you are explaining everything. I think I can do it.

Can you please explain how I connect the GM Antenna Adapter? I've never seen one in person but from the picture it looks long. I think this is the only thing left that I'm clueless about. You have been a great teacher hatch.

Well thanks, I'm just glad I can help. Now the antenna adapter is pretty simple. There'll be a hole to plug the antenna into in the back of your pioneer radio. Sometimes they have a dongle-type extension on them. One end of the antenna adapter plugs into that. The other end will plug directly into the antenna wire that was plugged into your factory radio. You'll notice that the factory antenna wire is not the correct size to plug into the pioneer radio. That's the purpose for the adapter. If you aren't sure where it goes on the radio, check the manual. It'll say in there.

Great explanation, as for the GM Battery Adapter I basically just remove the bolt on the negative and replace it with the Batter GM Bolt that I purchased from Monster Cable correct? Then just connect the blue power cable to that gold colored end and connect it to the Battery adapter right?

Yes, all except the part about the negative terminal. You want to hook that to the positive terminal (RED). You'll have some problems if you try to connect it to the black (negative) terminal.
