Default Volfenhag subs

Does anyone know if these subs are any good?

I see them on ebay a lot! They look like a good quality unit, with an aluminum cone and a die-cast frame. I would think that would make it quite rigid, and not prone to distortion. Anyway i am just getting into this stereo stuff and that is what I would think, although I could be wrong. Thanks.

im new to this forum, lookin to buy me a trans am next spring but i thought i'd give you my opinion on the subs, i've put a lot of systems in and im working on my own car audio e-buisness...i've used volfenhag's before in my own car, i bought one and one was given to me and their OK...as far as low end brands go their decent, better then what you find at walmart and better then say legacy and pyle, they do make a lot of noise even when they blow they still pound but not the greatest sounding thing in the world, if your looking for the best bang for your buck i'd say try out some kicker comp vr's, i've recently put them in 3 diferent cars and had nothing but good luck with them and they do hit hard especially in hatch backs plus they take a massive amount of abuse. i've heard good things about adire audio shiva's to, i've got an adire brahma and love it, you can check those out at www.adireaudio.com
just my .02
