Wait... you said you tried 2 different amps and the fuse still blows? Try the remote turn on wire? You might have a short somewhere in your radio circuit if the remote turn on wire is good and 2 different amps also got blown fuses

How many fuses do you have on the back of the amp. I was told that the inline fuse on the power wire should be the total of all the fuses on the back of the amp. The amp may not have enough power to pop the inline fuse first like it should therfore popping the ones on the amp. I have 4 (20) amp fuses on the amp and a 80-amp fuses on the power wire. You might also try putting a fuse on the remote wire to see if it is the remote wire over powering the amp.

Use a dmm and check your grounds on your HU and on the amps. Are your bridging your remote wire to both amps? Also, as mentioned below, make sure your inline fuse accounts for the total draw on the line.

What's the wattage rating on the amps and subs? Could just be over working the amp.

well it had been working just fine with my old amp till it blew the inline fuse...i replaced the inline fuse but could never get the amp to power up again....the amp has no fuses on itslef....then i go with another amp with a 30amp fuse on it and instantly blew as soon as it power up...i doubt the speakers are to big....i checked my grounds and power and everything seems right.....i dont memeber what my inline fuse is rated at.....the power line is what ever size came in the Rockford install kit...both amps are rockfords aswell.

u come up with a solution? I am having the same problem. My inline is fine but the 2 fuses on my amp keep blowing out. I changed the fuses once and the amp and subs worked good for a while but after about an hour or 2 of use they blew out again, this time on startup.

try and turn the gain down low so you know it is not being overpowered. if it still blows then something has to be grounding or your ground is very weak.

Figured it out...aparantly both my rockford amps sucked donkey *****....I checked and rechecked and rechecked all the wiring and all was good and still blew fuses up.......Went to wally world and bought a cheapo 50 dollar amp and bingo i got bass again...and i think it hits harder now than it did with the rockfords.

Is the "cheapo" amp you bought a Lightning Audio brand? Cause if it is...you know that Lightning Audio is the Rockford Fosgate knock-off?!
