Default Where to find electrical connectors?

I looking for a place to find stock connectors/plugs, so I don't have to splice in to the factory wiring.... makes it much easier/cleaner should I ever wish to return to stock.

Anyonw know where I can order any if I have the connector type?

Thanks,

Waytek Wire sells GM (Packard) Weatherpak and
MetriPak connectors. I think they're either
waytek.com or waytekwire.com. They have funny
minimum order quantities but they have what
you're looking for and ship quick. Need to be
sure you know what you're looking for (I have a
whole bag of WeatherPak connectors I bought and
found that they were wrong, needed the MetriPak
ones for the particular harness point; it's a
mixed bag but generally MetriPak for signals and
WeatherPak for anything that draws much power.
When in doubt, look down the back of the wire hole
for the seal grommet color, this seems to be
unique as a differentiator.

Jimmyblue,

Looking for the fan connectors. I need something that the stock wires/connector can plug in to. They probably should be from the weather pack.

If you have two of the two-wire male ends... [--] not [==], let me know what you want for them.

Thanks for the info.

ttt...I am looking for the connector (I guess it would be the MetriPak) that connects to the LS1 coils (and also the 7 pin that is on the other end of the coil pack wires if possible). I'm making myself a coil relocation setup and need the connectors so I can make new wires (don't want to splice).

I've got bags of them for making 2 steps, PM me with what you need. Or even how long of an extention you need. I've got all the proper crimp tools, seals, pins, locks and connector bodies.

might have an update on the plates too

If you can get access to the GM service manuals, they list the exact Metripack/Weatherpack part number for each connection. However, I found that many of the numbers have been replaced, in some cases several times, which can make them hard to track down...

Also, sometimes GM will sell "repair kits" for connectors/wires and you can buy them that way at any GM dealership. I'm not sure what all they offer that way, but if you only need one or two, the dealership may be the easiest. They come pre-assembled with some wire, so you dont have to crimp stuff.

Now if you want hundreds of connectors, thats a whole different story.

I need 8 of the 4-pin plugs that go onto the coil packs and I need 2 of the 7-pin (would be 8 pin but one is blocked out.....two rows of 4 ) that connect to the engine wire harness.

I picked up a few connectors at the Chevy dealer. The parts guy was able to look them up same as any other engine part, ordered and had them next day.

If you go this route, make sure you do it thru Dal or someone you have a wholesale agreement with. List price on the coolant temp sensor connector was like $26...ouch.

you might want to search for the guy who makes the LT1 to LS1 coil pack conversion kit, as he might be willing to sell you just the connectors needed for your project.

im sure GM price would be about $150 for those parts

If that guy won't sell them, and gm is that much, contact me back, and i can try to get a better price, i have an acount with power and signal, and might be able to order a bag of them, as i would like to do a similar project, and would not mind spliting the cost.
If anybody knows the part number, that would be great I searched through the delphi book, and the delco book last night, came across a couple of possible matches, but not sure
