Will that be messy? Do they make a clear RTV version?

I was told they cracked from expansion and contraction from the heat of the bulb and cooling of splashing water. But it could just as easily be from a rock hitting it.

I've thought about getting new housings and drilling a hole in each one to install a respirator exhalation valve in the lowest point. And drill 3 more holes within the diameter of the valve for the water to drain. I'd also install some of the protective film that is made to protect headlights.

Well... replaced driver's and passenger's side housing (w/ clear silicone around housings), replaced driver's and passenger's side outter and inner sockets...

DRLs, Turn Signals and Running lights work PERFECTLY!

Thanks all for your help and input.
