Default Finally in the 10's!

Went to the track this weekend and got some data off my car. 99 camaro with a HKE 408, PRC 5.3 heads, stock LS6 intake and TB, turbo 400, MWC fab9" w/4.11's. We were able to get it down to a 10.83@125 with a 1.44 60ft. The convertor is a little tight(3600 stall). the car is still 3685lbs with me in it as well. So overall im pumped that its rolling as fast as it is! I know the topend and convertor is killing it though.

I'm not impressed LOL just because it's a HKE motor. You already knew the motor was go run 10s no problem.... Erik motors are A1!! Congrats on the time bro!!

Curious..... what's your compression ratio?

well i know the bottom end is capable of handling the power lol, this motor has been in there since 2006 but i dont have the top end capable of powering it into the deep 10's yet. the compression is right around 11.25:1 if i remember correctly. i use pump 93 to, no race gas here.

yeah i think a transbrake will be my next investment. the higher the rpm I launch at, the 60' just keeps going down. the 1.44 60' was leaving at 2500rpm footbraking it.
