Default ms3 ls2 camaro, what do you guys think ?

alright im gonna give you the specs on this z28 and i need some predictions, posted in 11 sec forum because i think its gonna be somewhere in the low 11s.

low mile ls2 out of TBss
hand ported 243s
ms3 cam package
full bolt ons (pacesetter Y pipe)
slp cold air
3.42 geared 10 bolt
3400 fuddle stall converter (built tranny)
some weight reduction and probly sticky tires

lets just say he hooks even tho the car doesent have any suspension what are ur predictions ? personally i think think the car will put down some great power but the stall is the wrong one in my opinion...

just wanting to know because im putting an ss4000 w/ built tranny in my full bolt on SI car weighing 3200lbs soon and racing this guy so just gettin a feel of anything else i may need lol...

The car should be mid to low 11's depending if it hooks and his converter is fine for his car.Your car should be mid to high 11's depending if it hooks also so it will be close and could go either way.He has the HP but u maybe a little lighter and come out of the hole better.U will take him out of the hole but he may catch u on the top end.

yeah i think it should be close, i also dont think he will hook and i think i will so that might be the deciding factor...im gonna try to loose some poundage, relocate my battary and do a bunch of little stuff before we race.

I beat H/C cars all the time because the dont hook and i do but there HP comes on in the end.I have no frame connectors on the car so i dont think they make a big difference but i do have a brand new set sitting in my closet doing nothing.

Imho, I think that a 3600-4000 stall with at least 3.73 gears will work better for that cam at the track. I say try it anyway since worse case is you need to upgrade. Hard to say what it will run with the stock suspension. Put some good tires on there, at least some drag radials. It will help you meet your goals. Good luck!

I say if he hooks then your done, that car should trap a good deal higher than you even with the small converter.

was going for 11s on stock converter, but everyone has cammed cars or heads cam cars comming together in my town and i was falling behind, also i didnt want to get my car tuned come back run an 11 then go back and get it tuned again with the converter since im going all the way to texas to have texas speed do the tune. so its just gonna be a full bolt on SI car going as light as i can hopefully running some low 11s
