Ws6 11.80 @ 116mph

there was a really strong headwind today too... around 20mph or so. i could feel the car start off real good but once i got to around 90mph or so it started falling off more than i was used to. had to be the wind since with bolt-ons only and 50hp less at the wheels, my mph was only 3mph different

What are your mods currently and what gear, converter, tire? I went last month and only went 11.80's@115 all day, we also had a head wind right around 20mph. I usually run 11.5@118+, i just went back fri night with no wind and it was back running the norm with 11.53@118 so the wind def hurts

Nice setup man! You def have more in it. I need to switch to a yank 3600-4000 stall, this vig 3200 is hurting me lol. I think you def have some 11.60's in it with a better 60ft.

That is my goal as well in 100% daily driving trim (no weight reduction etc) just drive to the track run and drive home without popping the hood! What kind of dyno did you dyno 412whp on?

yep same here. no weight reduction besides the missing spare and ac stuff that i never would use. it was on a dynojet and it was with the 17x11 chrome zr1 wheels and 34 pound michelin pilot sport 335/35/17 tires on them. with the drag tires it would have saved about 38lbs of rotating mass on the dyno.

i think you would benefit from a converter that stalls higher, like a 4000+ like you mentioned, but a converter slips in normal driving, plain and simple. If you had 3.73's or 3.90's it would make the higher stall converter feel a lot tighter than your stock 3.23's
Its a trade off, the higher STR (how hard the converter hits), the looser its gonna feel and most of the time, how much fallback you get RPM wise between shifts. Gears help compensate for both of these things.
