WHIPPLE SUPERCHARGER KIT UNDER STOCK HOODS for LS1/LS6/LS2/LS3/LS7
WOW!!! Everyone is going crazy over these!
Fits LS1, LS6, LS2, LS3, LS7 Camaros, Vettes, GTOs, all LSx vehicles all under the stock hoods!
Finally a twin screw top mount supercharger that will allow our LSX F-bodies to take out 03-04 "Terminator" Cobras and 07-Present GT500s. And by take out I mean destroy/wipe off the face of the earth!
This ground breaking company developed a top mount supercharger kit that has some serious ***** that fits under any LSX vehicle's stock hoods. Here is the juicy part, they use a 3.3L Whipple supercharger which is a twin screw!
Here are the facts:
Non intercooled version @ 5 PSI on stock LS1 = 472 rwhp & 509 rwtq
Intercooled version @ 7.5 PSI on stock LS1 with headers= 530 rwhp & 563 rwtq
Imagine with other mods lol...just awesome
Prices/Parts of kits:
$XXXX (FIND OUT YOURSELF) - Base Kit includes 4.625 (5PSI) pulley - Adds 200HP - Includes everything needed to convert your vehicle to supercharged (Twin screw 3.3L supercharger unit with manifold, Fuel Pump Booster, Drive Pulleys, Instruction Manual, Injectors, Belt, Silicone couplers, Fuel Rails, Hand Held Tuner)
$XXXX (FIND OUT YOURSELF) - Stage 2 Kit includes 4.5 (7PSI) pulley - Adds 250HP - Includes all of the Base Kit plus the heat exchanger, pump, lines, etc to upgrade the Base kit to intercooled.
I CANNOT NAME THE COMPANY THAT MAKES THE KIT BECAUSE THEY ARE A NON SPONSOR BUT HERE SOME LINKS... FIGURE IT OUT YOURSELF
http://forums.corvetteforum.com/c6-f...gineering.html
Here are some pictures of the kit mounted on a LS1 Trans-Am clearly not showing any readable non-sponsor names.

Just because you decided to post links to your non-sponsor kit in 2 of my threads
Procharger is way better!

The answer is a supercharger of course...
Well boys, this answer is on our own LS1TECH forums, in the forced induction section like this very thread.

Besides the non sponsor issues & being able to see where the pictures are being hosted at while they are loading. If I'm going to run a 3.3 kit on a car, I'm not going to be satisfied with 7.5 psi & I'm pretty sure that even with whatever meager heat exchanger you can get under that thing & still close the hood. I'm sure at the boost levels that I would want to run to get the most out of that kit, the heat exchanger wouldn't hold up. Does it come with a built in icemaker to keep your water tank full of ice to keep IAT's down?
