Best Catch Can??
Looking into installing a catch can on my car (see mods in signature)
considering the following:
RX Performance LS1 Single Catch Can
Saikoumichi LS1 Dual Can
Which one would be best and why?
Any other opinions on different models which work better?
I use the car for autoxing, drag racing and hopefully some track days soon. And of course I DD it too!!!
thanks
tony

No need for a catch-can when running the newer style LS-6 valley cover. I believe SDPC carries them for around $70 new. This is what I would do, plus it will clean up your engine bay a lot.

Hmmm. I have a 2005 CTS-V LS6, presumably with the newer style valley cover. I also have an Elite Engineering Oil Catch Can that accumulates a significant amount of oil/fluid - more than an once per 1K Miles. I do a lot of cold starts in a high humidity environment, which may be a factor.

I don't have any pics of it yet, but the fit and finish are great. It comes with a supplied bracket that I bolted pretty much just like this guy:

But you can really mount it anywhere you have room (later on in that thread someone else posted a pic of their mounted dual can under the car).
