Default LS1 dry sump help

How have you guys run your pressure side to feed the block? I can't picture it in my head. Just trying to get an idea in advance.
Thanks

Most people run the pressure side to the factory oil pump. All the other stages are for scavange.

??????

I am not running the factory oil pump. 4 scavenge stages and one pressure. I am thinking I need to get a fitting and tap into the rear of the block.

On a 4 or 5 stage system we return the oil back at the bellhousing/drivers side plug that runs up at about a 45 degree angle. We sell a fitting that is -10 to the factory GM plug to make the line connection simple.

Well I was guessing correctly then. I will be buying your fitting. Thanks Kurt.

Does anyone have a diagram to show what the dry sump oiling system looks like and where the lines are routed and where the pumps are located?

Thanks!

That pan does not have the feed for the stock oil pump. You would need the ARE cast aluminum pan for the factory pump system.

Here is a diagram of An ARE system two stage pump utilizing the stock pump. As Kurt stated you will need the ARE pan.

or, you might get by with an ASA stock car pan. They are a bit deep, but they are a great looking and very strong pan. Moroso makes them.

What is an inexpensive pump to do the scavange?
