Default Trans Am Convertible w/ high rise spoiler?

It just dawned on me that I have never seen a Trans Am convertible with any other spoiler other than the Formula style one they came with. So does anyone have pics of theirs with a different spoiler on it? Id love to see them.

Theres the mecham spoiler. and in the paint and body or the convertibles thread a guy has a red ta vert with a coupes spoiler molded on. The reason you dont see them is that they are completely different from the factory. The trans am coupe has a flat deck lid that the spoiler rests on top and attaches to. The factory vert has a molded design deck lid simiar to the base/formula model. No one makes anything different. So Mecham has a lip add on spoiler which looks great i think, and the one guy custom chopped up a coupe wing.

So far this is the only guy I've seen with a coupe wing on a vert. I think it looks bad ***

From the back it looks good but from the side it hangs over too long, imho.

I always thought that the tall wing would look good on a vert... I was wrong, it looks really long and droops down like its melting or something

That guy chopped it in a lot of places, thats isnt how it would sit naturally. But in order to get it lined up with the body lines of the vert he had to sit it like that. IN the original thread everyone had suggested to push it forward a few inches and adjust the angle like cut less from the back

You're really getting on this member's case because he happens to be new and might not necessarily know all the modifications available?

That's pretty pathetic.

I was getting on his case for his inability to ask a question. He quoted (and commented on) a thread about a high rise spoiler on a convertible t/a. First off, where in the original quote he used was anything about a targa top? Second off, a simple search would have given him plenty of answers. Third, he bumped a thread from 3 years ago. Need i go on?
