Question anybody know what hood this is?

it's not the VFN hood, as it doesn't have that ugly *** hump in the middle of it...

I personally love this hood.... wonder if you can get it without the Pin-On option and just have it open/shut like the stock hood...

That hood is straight up sick. It would look weird for a street car though.

im sure they could make some mounting areas for it, but looks like it would be more expensive then any other hood since its so unique.

I don't think so man, the cowl is already almost touching the windshield when it's down.

We have recently updated our 5" ext ws6 hood to eliminate that hump (that some people did not like) plus add better visibility to the hood.
It is still a 5" hood but we incorporated our sunoco style scoop so it is more rounded and easier to see around...while extending the hood and scoop back to the windshield - which in this picture posted in this thread, the hood itself stops short of the windshield.

You can view our new sloped hood here:
http://www.vfnfiberglass.com/Sloped%20ws6.jpg

and on a car here:

And if you're in the market for a new hood, we are currently running a gp sale on these and our other hoods...here's the thread for this:

OH SOOOOOO MUCH BETTER! Glad to see you guys re-designed it! The old design looked like a rhino with a horrible sinus infection Thanks for the update and the link
