Default Camaro and Firebird interior plastics differences

I'm looking for a few interior pieces for my 2000 Camaro and i was wondering what differences there are between Camaro and Firebird plastics. In particular I'm looking at the rear sail panels and the hatch cover and plastics. Does anyone know if i can grab a set of ebony Firebird sail panels and put them in my Camaro?

I ran across some Firebird sail panels, but i wasn't sure if they were the same.

I am pretty sure they should be identical, dash and body are about the only things different on these cars.

Thanks for the response. Can anyone else confirm this? I've been comparing a few pictures and it does in fact look like they are very similar.

Ya, i noticed the door panel differences. I actually really like the way the Firebird door panels are setup. I like the look of the separate woofer and tweeter grills. Anyone ever put Firebird doors into a Camaro?

yes, you need the door panels, handle trim, lock slider and the switches, the switch's all plug up excepted the mirrors they want work unless you rewire them, also the panels mount in different location, so the camaro bracket has to be cut off so the firebird door panel will fit. I was going to do the same thing, but I just didn't think it was worth all the extra money tacking down new parts..

I was only kind of kidding about the firebird door panels, but after seeing how easy it is i might have to consider it. I really need to concentrate on getting the rest of the interior back into shape and to top it off the door panels I have are in good shape anyway.

If only an absent minded friend would damage one or both panels then I would have no choice but to do the conversion......... I'll have to keep my eyes open for a set.
