Billet gas Door??
I'm looking for a gas door for my 01 TA. Anyone know where I can find one? I have seen some f-bodies with this mod. I have heard that an eclipse door will work, is this true. If so how much moding will I have to do?

I got mine for about $100 and I guess at the time that was a good deal, there getting lower and lower!
It is pretty easy to put on.
Heres a few pics of mine. I chromed mine just to do something different and it came out really good! It matches all my other chrome on the car.

The billet gas door is awesome, and I loved it on my 35th. Takes me back a bit to the late 60's and early 70's muscle cars that had similar looking gas caps. Definitely not gay, IMHO.
Yes, the wheels are HP Racing Evo's. I think they are calling them "the new lightning" now. I have, and had 19's. (see sig)

people who say the Billet gas door is gay have never seen it in person........on a pewter or silver f-body it looks sharp.....blends perfectly and everyone who sees it says "WOW......where did you get that!?!?! How hard was that to do? I would love to have that on my car"

Can anyone post the parts (other than the aluminum Eclipse door) procedures to do it, explain a little what is needed or any other amplifying data? Looks like something that would be great powdercoated and put on mine!

Well you will need some nuts, bolts (the aluminum ones that come with the door are easy to mess up) and washers. What you are going to do it remove the factory door, place the new one in the "recess", and check for any areas on the door that might need slight grinding (I had one or two places) to fit perfectly. Once the door fits, make sure all the bolt holes are clear (not blocked by any body metal). The idea is to "sandwich" the body metal between the new door and the washers.
