There are 2 methods:
the fast and easy YANK AND PULL method
or
the slower but more complete TAKE OUT THE CLIPS FROM THE FRONT END, PEEL DOWN THE FASCIA AND REMOVE THE GRILLE CLIPS method.
I used the longer one. It's easy but more time consuming and definitely a PITA. The biggest drawbacks to the yank and pull method are that you lose the clips inside the front fascia and you can't reuse the grille or at least you can't reinstall it since you break the clips off.

if you don't want to re-use it, yank. It sucks anyways. I had the "no grille option" but found this to be more pleasing. after looking at the "whats behind" for a few days.

I used kind of the same method, cept I didnt yank and pull. I more gently moved and tugged, basically pulling each tab out one at a time. For some reason I was worried I would crack my fasica if I yanked too hard with the way it was flexing.
