You may have seen my thread a couple weeks ago where I was getting input on how I should paint my SS hood. While I ended up choosing the less popular option, I think it came out pretty good in the end.

I know...I'm doing a motor/turbo/rear end/suspension build over the winter - no point in messing with it now.

Looks good, but I would have rounded the front corners of the insert

i considered it but i thought if I followed the shape of the line further it would have become too narrow.

yeah i see a lot of them too, but dual five spokes were around long before the ZO6...plus, the price is right!

But for some reason lately I've been really drawn to the stock 98+ hood.
