Default Interior led's staying dim when car is off

Installed led's in dome light and in mirror and when lights are off see just a lil bit of light coming from the led's. Ok, now I know f-bodys and led's have issues also I don't buy cheap led's they were purchased from superled and they are smt. So I want to know what's the fix for this problem and also is there any issues with them staying dim like that. I haven't picked up a el12 flasher since I don't think you need one unless changing out turn signals which will be next. Any help is appreciated tried searching and didn't find an exact answer. Thank you

Do you have a quick write up on how you did the dome light? I was hoping to tackle that project this weekend.

well really not much to it just have to pick up a rigid festoon loop bulb from a led supplier and its a direct swap. Well almost just have to bend the loops a lil bit but not much at all. Super easy

Do you have any pictures? If the light is barely visible, I wouldn't worry about it.. But if it bright enough where you can see it from outside the vehicle, I'd think about going with a different LED bulb(s). Sure LEDs draw so little power, that any residual current in the system can cause an LED to light up a bit. But, with the right LED, it should completely turn off when...off.

Well so far no major issues with them being very dim can't really see it unless looking right at it, so for now just gonna leave it. I do love how bright the interior is now by far a highly recommended mod
