Default daily driving on prostars

do any of you guys daily drive on prostar skinnies and rears? I was thinking about it myself. I want a setup I can cruise on and use at the track aswell. I want to run either a 15X10.5 or a 16X10.5. I want to run on 28's and have no clue on what skinnies to go with. Any suggestions for track tires to use and street tires to use(swap)? Any pics of this?(especially on a white T/A)
thanks!

For a daily driver running skinnies up front is a bad idea, it's your car but my vote is no for a daily driver.

I wouldn't do it, People are crazy and you might need to swerve or whatever and that skinny isn't gonna help you

I've been on skinnies for over two years. No complications to speak of.
I pay attention to the road and dont hit potholes.
But, I dont drive in the rain unless I'm already somewhere needing to get home.
The real danger in skinnies is if you were to have to stop in a hurry on a wet road. The smaller tires just wont hold like a nice 17".

they sell skinnies that come wider like 4 or 5's instead of the 3.5...which one would be best for street/strip....good performer but still safe is what I am asking...are they legal on the road by the way?

any pics?

had a friend that had prostars on his 2001 ram air, first he had to shave the calipers to fit the 15's on. Ran it for a few months like that with runners in the front. One day he had to take a curve more than he thought, popped the runer and fliped the car 8 times and was about a hair from being dead. He flew through the t-top car landed on top of him, luckily he was in a whole and the only part of the car that hit him was the converted which nearly burned half his face off. It's not a good idea, plus they bend very easy b/c they are made to be light and ran on a strait track.

They are fine to drive on, just be careful and drive accordingly. I worried when I first put mine on but they work fine. I use Centerlines though.
