Default Sonar Projector Headlights with CCFL Halos

Did you know that Sonars have recently been offered with CCFL's for the Halos? I saw them for sale on a non sponsor website, then went to SPYDER's website (wholesale distributor of Sonars) and they show up under March 2011 "Monthly New Item".

Part number with CCFL in black housing: PRO-YD-CCAM98-CCFL-BK
Part number without in black housing: PRO-YD-CCAM98-HL-BK

Here is a picture:

Just found em online. Waiting for someone to buy em so we can see how much brighter the HALO's are. I've been waiting for these.

There are countless threads with pictures of these headlights on Camaros. They've been out for awhile with LED Halo's. Although they've been kind of voted the best of the projectors, one of the pitfalls is others were being offered with CCFL Halo's which are suppose to be brighter in daylight. I'm just letting those who have been interested know that I learned they are now offered with CCFL rings.

It would be great if someone has bought the CCFL version and could post up some good night and day pictures.

Yeh I hope so too. They are only $10 more than the LED version and I'd like to get them soon.

Mine aren't the CCFL but love em, dont really use the halos much. But would love to have the CCFL so you can see them in the daytime lol. I dont have the side leds hooked up either not really a fan of those.

Thanks for the pics GENE510SS.

Can you take another pic with the lights on? Are the halos visible when lights are on?

I have CCFL halos on my other car and they're really bright, even in the daytime. Plus you can see them even when the lights are on at night.
