Fellas, I broke one of my center dash vents. I ordered a new one (PN17997681) but it turns out that the vent associated with that part number is gray (called graphite I think) but I need a black one (ebony). It looks pretty whacked having one gray vent and two black ones, so does anyone know the part number for the black/ ebony center vent, and where I might find one? Thanks.

I have an extra ebony vent. What part specifically do you need? I cracked one of my center vents and found a replacement but have been too lazy to swap them out. It's not doing me any good sitting here so if you need it let me know and we can work something out.

Thanks for the offer Super-Bat, but I just received an email from Trans Am Creations, USA:

"GM does not sell the 00-02 ebony vent, in fact they don’t sell the 97-99 med gray vent. They sell the 93-96 in graphite and it is “dye to match” as a trim item. We have a good used 00-02 ebony center vent, $20 + shipping & handling."


I called and ordered the part so I should be all set. Anyway, thanks again.
