Default Grille/vent inserts?

im getting silver vinyl stickers all around and then the MBA insert in the rear...
where can i get ram air hood inserts and side vent inserts to math the stickers...or is there a way to do it on your own?

I painted mine. I think I have a picture in the link below that will show them. If not I can take a couple and send the to you. One thing I do have on my to do list is to take them out and send them off to be chrome plated. But that is the same cost as a cam that I am after so it can wait.

There are 2 little allen bolts on the hood ones. And the side will just pop out with a little pick and a decent firm pull.

O2WS6BIRD: Actually, I am not sure..I can't recall at the moment. However, it's tiny and will come with most allen key sets you might purchase.

They are held in by two T-15 Torx screws each.

For the side ones, it's just like VooDoo said, they can just be pulled out.

ok so what tool for the ram air hood...what tool for the side vents?...

and i want to make them match the silver overlay stickers...soo what would i use...is there inserts to buyy? is there a special paint?....is spraypaint an option whats the best way to go bout this to match the stickers

auto body paint...like touchup paint or suntn from autozone with a clear coat? lol

The hood inserts are held in by two T15 screws. If you look you will see them on each side of the insert. The side inserts pop in and out. You can use anything L-shaped or hook shaped to pull them out. It's real easy and you will not hurt them. As for paint I bought Duplicolor in the color I wanted at the autoparts store.

so duplicolor...is good...what else is there? what kindsa paint would i want to use?

I would take them and get them powder coated. Might only cost you 20$..I have seen this done before and it looked awesome.
