Default Where to get front marker?DRL light gasket for TA?

Im looking for the gasket that goes on the light socket. I'm getting water in a new front marker/DRL under the headlight assembly on my TA. Any ideas who sells these?

If you actually want the gasket and don't want to lay down a bead of rtv or something around it I would either get a whole new socket (mine came with a gasket) or go to a junkyard and look at the gm vehicles with the same socket and pull the gasket off of one of those

Where can you get the light socket at, other than the dealer?

Really guys? It's super simple and you will slap yourself when I tell you.

Dorman 85881. It's at every Autozone and or decent parts store for that matter. It's the socket and comes with the gasket.

I simply purchased a sheet of foam (probably less than $5) from Michael's (it's an arts & crafts store), and used an X-acto to cut out a couple of rings. The foam I selected is thicker than the factory seals, so it took a bit of force to compress them enough to install the bulbs, but it wasn't too hard. Now they are well molded to the shape of the port and make a nice seal due to their thickness. They still look great a couple of years later and they were only tricky to put in that first time.

I realize you get new gaskets with the sockets. However, I'd rather not spend that kind of money just for gaskets, since my truck housings have 3 sockets each.

Sounds like a decent idea, I'll look into that. Thanks.

No problem. Just place the old gasket on the foam, trace, and cut out. You can probably make something like 20 gaskets from one sheet of foam. I went this route after finding the auto parts stores offered nothing.

Theirs that idea too and its great. Something I would do if I needed just the gasket.

Some were asking about the socket too. I understand that it's not worth the money for just the gaskets. However, its been my experience that our DRL sockets are corroded to hell and it's best to just replace them.
