Updated w/ pics..WOW, results from my Porter Cable buffer and Menzerna polishes
Updated...Pics farther down in the thread
As some may recall, I scratched the hood up with the clay bar by pressing on it to much, well, I got my Porter Cable buffer and the Menzerna polishes from the ups man yesturday. Just got back from a morning at the garage polishing away.
All I can say is WOW !!. This polisher and polishes worked wonders on the hood and front. I used the intense polish and the scratches are gone. The hood looks better now than it has in a long time. After I get the rest of the car buffed out, I will switch over to the final polish and then top it off with good ol Zaino. Will take awhile, but I can already tell it will be well worth it.
I recomend this pc buffer and polishes to all.

Its amazing what a buffer and some good cut compound can do to a dull paint surface........

yeah, but he's still using zaino. try something else. dark colored cars don't get all that much out of zaino. if your car looks good after your polish, it's because of the menzerna, not the zaino.

Wow, looks really nice!
Would you mind creating a list of what you used and the price for each? Instead of paying for someone else doing this, I rather learn the technique and do this to my own car.

7424 ULTIMATE Porter Cable Ulitimate Machine
comes with the buffer, backing velcro pad, and a polishing pad
MEN-PPK Menzerna polish and pad kit
comes with the intense polish, final polish II, a compound pad, polish pad, two micro fider towels, two bottles for water, and two pads for hand polishing.
Total for both from Classic MOtoring was $217.85
I couldn't find a Lowes or a Home Depot in my area that had the buffer, so I gave up and ordered all from one place.
