New mod: LED maker lights
I had blacked out my marker lights a while back, but I wanted a little more light from them so I decided to flush mount some LEDs into the lenses. These aren't the best pics so I'm gonna take some more but they get the idea across. Each side marker has 14 LEDs flush mounted. I'm thinkin about doing the front with clear lens/amber LEDs. What do you guys think?

Finished the fronts, too. It's a good alternative for anyone who, like me, doesn't want clear leneses or stock ones that break up the flow of the car...yet doesn't want to do without lights. Plus this is something that, afaik, no one's got so far

That's nice, I'd like to have my running lights a lot brighter than they are now, maintain the amber color, but black out my markers. This is a good idea and might even give me some motivation

I would think the whole point of turning you car into a nightrider is for it to look stealthy?
This is going in the opposite direction. As long as you don't install any underglows!

Thanks everybody
Here's a very brief walkthrough of mounting and wiring LEDs.

I definetly reccomend trying something like this if you're interested...although I would pick up some spare parts of whatever you're drilling on (ie the marker lights) so if you're not happy with it you won't be stuck with a part full of holes. Feel free to PM or AIM me with any questions.
Poik, the only thing you might have to worry about-assuming you're talking about doing the turn signals too-is changing the flasher over to an electronic one. Since LEDs present such a low current draw, the usually can't cause a standard flasher to flash.
InfiniteReality, you defeinetly gotta post up some pics of those LEDs ...especially the front plate.
