Default Opinions on this Firebird Hood!

I wanted to do something different, havnt ever seen this hood on a car in person!

Was thinking WS6 or Firehawk (raptor) hood as well,

whatcha think?

I like it. I think that's the Mecham hood. Not sure though.

i think its pretty cool. very different. i do believe it is the mecham hood.

The down side is that Mecham has some really sketchy quality issues with there stuff.

Looks okay to me. I think without the bird and engine callout it would look a lot better IMO.

That is definately a sweet a$$ looking hood. I decided to go with the SLP Ram Air H.O hood, I wish I would have went with the mecham!!

Not too bad, but if Mecham has had alot of quality issues with their hoods. I like their rear spoiler alot better than the hood though.

I think I like it (not sure yet thought) , definately looks better on a t.a. , alot better than the hood they make for the camaro

i really like the Mecham hood, i just don't trust Mecham to make a quality hood. i haven't heard good things about the quality

That looks sick! If I had a T/A I would definitely get that hood. I say, hands down, go for it and post pics as soon as you get it.

Damn...how many hours did it take to get that hood that straight?!?! Looks awesome!
I have seen 2 of them in person and both are crappy quaility and fit. The hood and tail were both cracked.
I was looking at a Mecham hood for my Z28 and my body shop guy (who fit one of those) basically told me that I could get that hood if I wanted to, but he wasn't going to fit it to the car.
Don't get me wrong, I really like the look of the Mecham, but be prepared for substandard quality.
