Default Non-Abraisive Car Wash Soap

The Soap I usually use for washign, is quite abraisive, causing me to have to wax eactime I wash. Can anyone recommend a good carwash soap that is mild, so i can get away with a good spray wax in between Full waxings.

I've never heard of soap being abrasive either. You sure it's not the wash mitt or sponge you're using?!?!

Well first off how did you prep your paint for wax?.. Wax won't stay on all that long when it's sitting on top of dirt and other contimants.

I always wash and dry before waxing, make sure to prep the car nice. I will use the turtle wax soap, My friend who uses the eagle one soap on his 99 ws6 told me that it is very abraisive and you have to wax after you wash with that soap.

Why do easterners put an R in WASH?!!? I've used Eagle one soap for years and no complaints. But then again I've never waxed any of my vehicles.

I've used Eagle One before in the past when it was a red color and never once had any issues with it. The soap should only be lifting and carrying away light dirt. Unless your friend is scrubing the paint while washing it, it shouldn't be removing wax. Abrasive and car warsh soap don't go together.
If you clay-bar, paint cleaner, (optional) and wax, your wax will last MUCH longer that you would expect it to.

it could be poor prep before washing like not rinsing it off good enough and also useing to much car wash will strip wax
