Default Aftermarket steering wheel options for a LS1 Fbody???

Has anyone swapped the steering wheel in a LS1 Fbody? It bugs me more than anything...I havent been able to find any decent looking aftermarket ones. Anyone have suggestions or pics?

Thanks,
Karl

I haven't but it is something I want to do as well. I was also looking at some of the after market steering columns. I think the total billet look would be great with matching trim on the interior trim pieces.

That looks great! Any idea if I can retain the airbag?

I made them out of 1/16 sheet metal to start, then I got a thin sheet of carbon fiber to cover it.

That momo looks just like the steering wheels in ferraris, almost identical. I just remember seeing the latest f&f movie where that stupid guy goes all crazy about one of those when he doesn't even have a car

How do you guys think a steering wheel from a third gen with the firebird in the center would look? It might not be worth it because any one you could find would be beat up, but I'm just throwing ideas out there. In my 87 I have one of those painted the body color (I know most of you guys hate stuff like that, but whatever) with the bird in the center silver. It looks really cool, but I need to get the leather redone.

you know that wheel reminds me of the porsche boxster steering wheel

i think the solstice steering wheel would look good in a t/a cause of the pontiac emblem unless its possible to get the airbag covered?
